As the son of a minister I was brought up going to church regularly but as I grew up I sadly walked away from God and became disillusioned with the Christian life.
I tried running from God for years but He never gave up on me. After coming to a point of brokenness I came back to Christ and began attending Emmanuel. Here I found acceptance and abounding love from God that far outweighed anything I found in my rebellion. Now I see the true meaning of a relationship with God based on His love and not on religious duty |
